The new album is finally here, and I couldn’t be more excited to share this milestone with you. It’s been quite the journey—filled with highs, lows, and everything in between—and I’m thrilled to take you behind the scenes of this process. In this post, I’ll share what it took to get here, the inspiration behind the music, and the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
I might be showing my age here. But I had the name of this album inside of my head since I was 16 years old, and it did not come to fruitition until I had the right equiptment to make the music. This took such a long time, a lot of money, alot of development in all my abilities. I was also living through moral obstables, living vicariously through self doubt. Believing that I couldnt rely on music as a viable career path. My father and my grandmother didn't believe in me as much as my mother and stepfather did, and it really slowed me down with my songwrtting for many years.
But now I am glad I quit my day job!
Here is the low down on what each track is about:
Inf flux - is a simple short track to kick off the stories and thoughts. I guess it was like a portal straight into my mind.
Under mind's Derange - It's a direct hit at someone I was in an emotionally abusive relationship with when I was in my 20s.
The Troll - was a direct hit back at those who are just down right cruel for no reason, and choose to bully innocent individutals behind a screen on social media.
Plastic Catastrophie - is about celebrities who alter or enhance their bodies.
Two facer is a jab at those who are sweet one minute and then completely rude the next.
Progressing the darkness - was an older track I revisited, and gave it a revamp. Consdier it a way of the song letting you know you are halfway through listening to the ahlbum, sorta like an intermission.
Slander - Is about how people treat you when you had a valid opinion about something.
The way you are - was a direct revenge hit against an emotionally abusive former partner back in Febuary 2024 .
Cacophony - is about how people often criticize you as an artist, or anyone who puts effort into doing something great, only to have others undermine or belittle it. The underlying message is that such negativity is just empty noise.
Reverse Effect - reflects on how people always want you to change for them., and when you do they want you change all over again.
I am not really here- was simply the perfect way to end an album. It speaks for it'self.
Creating this album has been a deeply personal experience, and each track represents a chapter of my journey. From the raw emotions of past relationships to the critique of society and the pressures of being an artist in the public eye, I’ve poured myself into every note and lyric. Some tracks were born out of pain, others from reflection, but all of them are a part of who I am today.
After everything I had been through I had to get to know myself all over again. This album broke through all my barriers, and helped me get so many messages accross loud and proud.
